Who in life is truly rich??
The status of the
people in our society is often defined by the number of help they can afford in
their house. If a family possesses one maid in their household then we consider
them as middle class. As the number of the maids in the household keep on increasing
so does their status in the society.
Who is called a
maid? A maid is someone who serves us by doing our regular household chores for
us. They get paid for the services they offer and we are mostly dependent on
them.
Similarly, in
life the Divine gives each individual their own Maid who serve us in their own way.
These maids are
no one but our Critics.
If you have 100
friends then you are not considered rich but if you have a 100 critics then
only are you truly rich.
The role of
critics in our lives is to point out our mistakes and criticize our deeds thus
eventually pushing us in the right direction. There are two types of critics
who we will encounter in our lives. The first are the one who will guide us
into the right direction by providing constructive criticism on every part of
our lives. We often know them as our parents and teachers.
The second are
the ones who will impose a lot of destructive criticism on you. They will blame
you for every kind of work that you do, compare you to others and focus only on
your mistakes. They will try their hardest to make you doubt yourself. But
believe it or not, they are the best ‘maids’ that God has provided us with.
Even though they try their hardest to bring you down, the effect is almost
opposite. You get more motivated and their negative comments only compel you to
push yourself harder and do even better.
You are very much
lucky if you have critics around you. They do not prosper themselves but play a
very important role in your prosperity. They themselves lack will power but
make your will power unbreakable. They make you gain name, fame and love in the
society.
If you have
critics in your life then it is clear that you are on the path of progress and
of rising above others. Never ignore or argue with your critics, because if the
maid leaves your home you will be doing household work ignoring your job or business.
Similarly if the critics goes away from your life it will be tough for you to
identify your weakness.
The more the
critics the more blessed you are and the more close you are towards the Divine.
You are the Divine’s most favourite child. You are truly rich and prosperous.
So if you come
across any person, say for example, A criticizing person B behind his back,
label A as B’s maid.
People criticize
others only on four occasions. The first is when they find out that the other
person is going ahead of him. The second is out of fear of losing their self
identity. The third is when they try to hide their own weakness. And the fourth
is out of Ego.
When you don't
have any critics ...then its case two things only...either you have become 100%
perfect n reached your life destination or second you are sitting stuck
at one place ...no thought/plan of moving ahead..taking risk...growth ...
So before
sleeping tonight...not to forget to count how many free MAIDS you have in your
life who are serving you 24x7 all 365 days at zero cost....be thankful to
them. Express gratitude towards them for giving selfless service ..
